Earthy tones are huge for 2018, rich shades of black, brown, green, rust, blush and lilacs will be taking over 2017’s grey and cool shade trend, welcoming warm colours into the interior scene.
White kitchens have been a staple classic for many over the years, but 2018 sees kitchens become more colourful, using a mix of bold colours and materials. This new trend can be applied by simply adding colour to a piece in the kitchen or adding coloured accents using the colour trends from above. Novelty sinks are another big trend heading for 2018, as well as the traditional stainless steel and ceramic sinks, other materials like stone and concrete looking sinks are going to be a big trend.
Floral wallpaper is going to be taking over 2018 with bold and contrasting colours taking centre stage. Farrow & Ball launched their new range of floral wallpaper in September ahead of the trend, if you’re looking to incorporate bold floral patterns throughout your home right now, Farrow and Ball have an amazing selection.
Following on with natural materials trend, flooring is also heading that way. With parquet hardwood becoming a popular choice throughout 2018.
Raw materials are another trend that is going to be big on the scene in 2018, with natural materials, concrete and rustic finishing and furniture being a firm favourite trend. We will see the raw material trend all through the home, from bathrooms to kitchens.
